What we noticed on the ground
On our 2018 trip out to see family in North Carolina, we traveled through Mississippe and spent one night camped at Twiltley Branch Campground on Lake Okatibbee. Just outside of Collinsville MS. What a beautiful place to camp! Just watch out for the gators! Twiltley Branch Campground on Lake Okatibbee is a Corps of Engineers campground. Like most COE campgrounds Twiltley Branch Campground does not have a whole lot of fancy amenities. There are a number of pit toilets throughout the park and one shower facility for all of Twiltley Branch Campground so late in the day it gets crowded! You will find tons of shoreline for fishing, a couple of places to tie up your boat and a great swimming area. Our campsite at Twiltley Branch Campground was so beautiful! We hated to leave Twiltley Branch Campground on Lake Okatibbee but we had to move on. Join us in our visit to this great Mississippi campground!
