While RV camping at Lake Somerville we spent one disappointing day/night at Rocky Creek Park. Our ADA accessible campsite had a fantastic view but that was about the only real positive at Rock Creek Park. The gate staff at Rocky Creek Park were a bit gruff about park access. Lake Somerville is a very popular outdoor destination so the campsites are in high demand, perhaps that is why campground entrance is so tightly controlled. This part of our visit to Lake Somerville only lasted one day due to the limited park access as well as nasty weather moving through the area.
